Basic Moves:

HP: High Punch

LP: Low Punch

HK: High Kick

LK: Low Kick

Block: Lets you to block an opponents attack.

Run: Allows you to run at the opponent, but run is limited. The meter eventually runs out.

Roundhouse: Back + HK

Sweep: Back + LK

Uppercut: Down + HP

Juggle Punch: Down + LP - Pushes opponent away from you.

Head Punch: Jump over opponent and press HP or LP while in the air.

High Crouch  Kick: Down + HK

Low Crouch Kick: Down + LK - Pushes opponent away from you.

Head Kick: Jump over opponent and press HK or LK while in the air.

Throw: (Close) Forward + LP

Positions:

Close: Right next to the opponent.

Sweeping Distance: Legs length away when doing a sweep.

Half Screen: 1/2 the screen in length.

Full Screen : All the way on the opposite side of the screen.

Finishers:

Fatalities

This is when you kill your opponent in a very gruesome way.  To perform a fatality, you must win the match, then complete the joystick/button sequence the character has when the "Finish Him/Her" words appear.

Animalities

An Animality is when the winning fighter turns into an animal and attacks the opponent.  To do an animality, first perform a mercy once the opponent is defeated.  Finish off the opponent again because a mercy gives them more power.  Then, do the button movement for the animality.  But, animalities can only be done in the third round.

Stage Fatality

This lets you knock the opponent to their gruesome death.  Some stages contain pits, or places were the opponent will fall into or fly upto.  These are the stages containing pits in MK1-MKT: The Pit, The Kombat Tomb, The Dead Pool, The Pit III, The Subway, The Bell Tower, and Scorpion's Lair. The Pit Stage is the only stage out of these listed where you only have to uppercut your opponent to perform the stage fatality. All other stages require you to perform the correct button movements that that particular character has.

Friendships

Instead of killing your opponent, you do something nice or funny to them after putting in the correct button movements.

Babalities

This allows you to turn your opponent into an annoying, crying baby after you perform the correct button movements.

Brutalities

This is a set of many hits, or a huge combo, that makes your opponent explode.  To perform a brutality, you must pull off the ten-hit combo that your character has when it says "Finish Him/Her".  After this, your character will keep on hitting your opponent by itself until the opponent explodes.

Mercies

You need to perform a mercy to do an animality.  To do a mercy, Hold RUN, hit down 4 times, then release RUN.  Animalities can only be done in the third round, so unless you want to give your opponent more power, don't do a mercy any other time.
