Yet again, the MK Empire is still here...
Yes I know, this site only gets
updated a few times a year now, but my schedule is tight and I already
noted that we would not be covering MK: Deception 24/7 in its formative
stages.
But, I just felt that it was time
to update on a few things that have been lingering for a while, so enjoy.
The MK Empire to auction off MK collectables!
You read right! For almost
a year now I haven't managed to get areound to this, but now it's time.
I will be auctioning off/giving away tons of rare MK collectable items
over the internet (Ebay)
very soon, and I decided to give the readers of this site first dibs on
what will be put up for bidding. Below is a list of what will be
sold within the coming month, along with pictures of the items, so that
you can see them here first. I will stress that if anyone sees
one of my items and really really wants one, drop me an e-mail
requesting more info and I might be able to help you out (a.k.a. just send
you the item)! So, check out what I've got so far:

Prices for these items are all pending,
so keep checking back here for updates once they are posted.
** I also have other non-MK things
lying around that I might throw on Ebay as well, including two Gravis Gamepad
Pro gaming controllers, one Gravis Blackhawk joystick, dozens of PC CD-ROM
games, and Donkey Kong 3, Killer Instinct, and Killer Instinct 2 Codebooks.
Again, e-mail me if
interested.
MK: Deception and the 3rd MK movie in full
force
As we all know by now, MK: Deception
is in full force, and since E3 and all of the updates on numerous big gaming
sites on the internet have arisen, the game seems to be coming along smoothly.
But, as stated before, the MK Empire will not cover such updates day by
day, so your best bet is to go to big, informative sites like Mortal
Kombat Online, davesmk.com,
and trmk.org since these
sites can keep you updated by the minute with MK information. Nevertheless,
Deception looks sick so far (did you see those fatalities?!), but only
in playing it in the Fall will we truly see if it lives up to the hype.
Also, news is starting to trickle in about the 3rd
MK movie, and word is that production is officially beginning
as we speak. It looks to be a big year for Mortal Kombat once again...
Test #19 recap
Just to let you all know, Test
#19 has been up for some time, but I lost all of the recent
e-mail entries for it, so as a result it will be staying up a bit longer
so that at least a few more winners can get posted up. If you submitted
an entry before, sorry that I didn't get it, but please try again if you
want.
MK Empire poll
Similar to the update above, I
will be leaving the current Poll
up as well so that more votes can be tallied. The question, "What
is the best MK game of all time?" has seen a shift in results every week,
with a new game barely pulling to the front of the voter tally time and
time again, so I'll leave it up a bit longer so that the true "best" MK
game of all time will be revealed by the people.
